Our History
Our founding management delivered Enterprise systems for more than four decades, before “ERP” was coined. These systems initially utilized existing primitive technology, and expanded to the sophisticated solutions advanced by the technology of the day.

Developed the first apparel and enterprise systems using unit record equipment with punched cards, later upgraded to the early disk system via the IBM 3X series.
Late 1970s

Through the delivery of dozens of customized systems using the System, our first ERP was born, and with it the advent of the then new Automatic Order Allocation
Early 1980s

Introduced the first generic ERP on the IBM AS/400.
Late 1980s
Late 1980s
One of the earliest ERP Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) created, running on the AS/400 and on UNIX.
By the end of the decade there were about 450 installations, including large corporate icons such as London Fog, JCrew, and Nautica.

As the world was moving towards PCs, we adjusted our technology’s direction towards Windows using Visual FoxPro.

With the prior decade in the PC world behind us, we looked at the future and began the plans for a new set of ideas for an apparel ERP solution powered by Microsoft’s .net environment.

ColdLion Technologies
Decades of history and knowledge converged and evolved into a new Rapid Application Development concept centered around Metadata, shattering the limitations of traditional development, and reducing the cost and time of system development and maintenance by a factor of 5:1. It deploys the concept of “configure once, run anywhere, from any device.”

As business evolved into more e-Commerce centric, ColdLion launches a set of API suite to allow clients to fully automate the relationship between their websites, the ERP and their warehouses for seamless order fulfillment.

Taking up the challenge of walking a mile in our clients’ shoes ColdLion launches a Back Office services division, using the ColdLion ERP platform to deliver the service.

Deploying the concept of “Modifiability by design” to its fullest, the ColdLion platform enables entry into multiple verticals such as Freight Forwarding, Bridal Retail, and more.
